We’re back again after a solid Friday, where we likely would’ve been 4-0 but deGrom was scratched, cancelling Dylan’s bet. However we’ll settle for 3-0 amongst the rest to give us some good momentum headed into a packed weekend.
Alex Jansen (5-3-1, 61.11%, +1.7u): Portland Trail Blazers -6 vs Memphis Grizzlies
The Clippers messed around and did this, unleashing a next level Dame on the league. Expect a high scoring affair here, but without Jaren Jackson Jr. I don’t think the Grizzlies have what it takes to keep up with the Blazers much more talented roster. Even if by some miracle you can slow down Dame you still have to worry about scorers like McCollum, Melo, and the rising star Gary Trent Jr, this one could get out of hand quick.

Ben Jansen (19-12, 61.29%, +10.15u, 4 straight wins): LA Dodgers -160 @ LA Angels
The Freeway series has been lopsided in recent years, as the Dodgers have grabbed a firm hold on being the best team in LA. Last night they took game one thanks to strong performances from Bellinger and Kershaw, and tonight should be more of the similar. The Dodgers trot out Walker Buehler, who’s ERA is deceiving for his dominance, as his average against is a mere .143 to a surprisingly high 4.40 ERA. The Angels trot out Andrew Heaney who, as a lefty, could give the Dodgers some trouble, but they should be able to put up enough offense against a subpar bullpen to support Buehler and win this one.
Risk 1.6 to Win 1
Dylan Kelly (6-4, 60%, +2.1u, 2 straight wins): A’s/Yankees ML Parlay
After a 5-run comeback yesterday the A’s are ready to come in hot today, looking to keep their momentum going. Sean Manaea is on the hill, and while the team is looking to keep its momentum, he’s just trying to find any at all as he carries a 9.00 ERA into this one, much higher than his career 3.93. If Manaea can get going the A’s are a legit threat.
Up until this point the Red Sox have been a complete joke of a team. While they do have Eovaldi on the mound today, he won’t be able to shut down the still stacked Yankees lineup. This one is a chance for another struggling pitcher, James Paxton, to get his first win of the year and tune up his ERA. I fully expect the Yankees to runaway with this one.
Risk 1 to Win 1.75
Ryan Kelly (5-3, 62.5%, +1.85u, 2 straight wins): Cleveland Indians @ Detroit Tigers u7.5
Shane Bieber (1.63 ERA) is one of the best pitchers in the AL and he’s facing a light hitting Tigers team that is clearly in rebuilding mode. He would have no problem shutting them down. On the other side, Spencer Turnbull is Detroit’s starter and he’s been great so far this season posting a 2.00 ERA through 3 starts. If both of these pitchers go deep and pitch like they have all year, the under is an easy bet in this one.
